Job summary

Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a dedicated Hospice CNA to join our Dalton, GA team. You will provide compassionate 1:1 care to patients at the end of life, support families, and uphold dignity and comfort in a respectful environment.

This role offers a stable schedule (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm), opportunities for growth, and a collaborative interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care. Prior CNA experience and CPR certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Meet the training requirements of the state of practice.
• Minimum six months experience including providing personal care.
• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Complete a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised training; 16 of the 75 hours must be classroom before 16 hours of practical training.
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care.
• Understands hospice philosophy and comfort with terminal illness.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Ability to handle death/dying.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Help with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and repositioning.
• Monitor & Report: Observe and report changes in patient’s condition.
• Mobility: Assist with ambulation, transfers, ROM exercises and safe equipment use.
• Medication Assistance: Help with self-administered medications per state regulations.
• Emotional Support: Offer companionship and comfort to patients and families.
• Light Housekeeping: Change linens, assist with meals, and maintain a clean space.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Team Participation: Collaborate with hospice interdisciplinary team.
