Job summary

Serenity Hospice is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver high-quality end-of-life care for patients in West Chester and nearby communities. The role emphasizes dignity, comfort, and family support while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

This position requires PA CNA certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel within the service area. No nights or weekends are required; PTO and benefits are provided for a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania CNA certification is required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area.
• Hospice, home health, or long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Promote patient comfort, dignity, and independence.
• Build compassionate relationships with patients and their families.
• Follow all hospice policies, procedures, and infection control standards.

Position Summary
