Interim HealthCare Hospice is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant in Michigan. You will join a team that values staff support as much as patient care, with opportunities for flexible assignments and a stable pay scale.

The position emphasizes safe patient handling, daily living assistance, and adherence to care plans, with a focus on supporting patients and working within a family-owned hospice environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active CNA certification in Michigan required.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws/regulations.
• Compassionate, good communicator; able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Promote a safe environment and maintain unobstructed pathways while providing care.
• Assist patients in activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, nails, skin care, oral hygiene, toileting).
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.

Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities

• Promote a safe environment and maintain unobstructed pathways while providing care
• Assist patients in activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, nail, and skin care, oral hygiene,
• toileting, etc.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and/or range of motion exercises
• Follow the assignment sheet/service plan performing only tasks that are assigned
• Recognize, report, and record/document changes in patient/client condition and safety to the supervisor

A few must-haves for CNAs:

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Michigan
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
• Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
