Job summary

Beacon Brook Health Center is seeking dedicated Hospice CNAs to join our compassionate team in Cape Cod. In this role, you will provide exceptional care to patients with life-limiting illnesses. Full-time and per diem opportunities are available, offering competitive weekly pay between $22 and $24 per hour, along with a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Ideal candidates hold an active CNA license in Massachusetts and have at least one year of experience. Join us in making a lasting difference in the lives of our patients.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant license in Massachusetts.
• At least one (1) year of experience as a CNA.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Hospice CNAs to join our team on Cape Cod! As a Hospice CNA with Hospice Services of Massachusetts, you will provide exceptional care and support to patients diagnosed with a life-limiting illness. Our team is committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of our patients and their loved ones.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care needs for assigned patients, including bathing, dressing, undressing, and feeding
• Assist with oral hygiene, shampoos, and changing bed linens as needed
• Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
• Provide proper care and observation of the patient's skin to prevent breakdown of tissue over bony prominences
• Meet the safety needs of the patient and use equipment safely and properly
• Assist with ambulation and exercise as instructed by the hospice nurse or therapist
• Provide a normal range of motion and transfers/positioning as directed
• Offer and assist with bedpans and urinals, and help with light laundry needs

Requirements

• Active and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant license in Massachusetts
• At least one (1) year of experience as a CNA
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
