Job summary

Good Samaritan Hospice, part of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, seeks a Clinical Supervisor, RN for a full-time role based at our Administrative office in Valencia, PA. The position oversees day-to-day patient care by supporting patients, families, IDG members, and care providers involved in our patient care.

The RN will work Monday through Friday with holiday and weekend rotation (every fourth weekend), providing clinical supervision and guidance to staff, while ensuring accurate data management

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Two years hospice experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Solid computer skills, including Word, Excel and EMR programs.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal).
• Able to identify and anticipate patient and family needs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve clinical issues.
• Provide clinical supervision, direction and guidance to staff.

Job description

Good Samaritan Hospice, an entity of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, is seeking a Clinical Supervisor, RN for a full time position which is based at our Administrative office in Valencia, PA.

Our Hospice Clinical Supervisors are the heart of our organization and are responsible for overseeing day to day patient care by assisting patients, caregivers/families, Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) members and health care providers involved in our patient care.

The Clinical Supervisor RN will work Monday through Friday a week with a holiday and weekend rotation (every fourth weekend.)

QUALIFICATIONS for Clinical Supervisor, RN:

• Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Two (2) years hospice experience preferred
• Possesses strong assessment, problem solving and decision making skills
• Solid computer skills, including Word, Excel and electronic medical record (EMR) programs
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Must be able to identify and anticipate patient and family needs
