Job summary

Hospice of Acadiana, Inc. is seeking a Director of Clinical Services to supervise patient care, clinical staff, and regulatory compliance. The role requires on-site availability during operating hours and leadership of diverse clinical teams within the hospice and inpatient unit.

Responsibilities include overseeing budgets, developing action plans with leadership, and driving improvements in patient care and financial performance. Strong communication and staff development are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with Louisiana Board of Nursing and BLS CPR certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Three years’ RN experience, with at least one year in hospice/home health/oncology.
• Valid Louisiana Driver's License and auto liability coverage.
• Experience leading large teams and direct leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent customer service focus.
• Budget development and fiscal accountability experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and implement programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight of clinical operations and maintain budget adherence.
• Design and execute plans to improve patient care and financial performance.
• Promote a positive work environment and address staff satisfaction.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and survey readiness of the program.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives and communicate across the organization.
• Oversee staffing and productivity; report to President & CEO.
