Job summary

Affinity Care of Virginia seeks a Director of Clinical Services to lead the hospice clinical program, oversee the Interdisciplinary Group, and delegate nursing services according to established standards. Ideal candidates will be a licensed RN in Virginia with nursing leadership experience in hospice or related health care settings, capable of strategic planning and staff development.

Qualifications

• RN license in Virginia
• Bachelor's in Nursing with management experience in hospice
• Experience supervising clinical teams and administration

Responsibilities

• Designates an alternate in writing to fulfill DCS duties
• Supervises direct and indirect patient services
• Guides coordinators and Clinical Managers to improve hospice care
• Assists in budgeting and planning for clinical services
• Maintains clinical records in compliance with laws
• Ensures CHAP accreditation standards are met
• Promotes hospice referrals in the health care community
• Acts as Executive Director/Administrator in absence of ED/AD
