Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing; licensed RN in state with current licensure.
• Three years of management experience in a hospice or related health care organization.
• Knowledge of CHAP standards and governmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all patient care services provided by the hospice team.
• Supports and advises nursing supervisors to help improve patient care.
• Assists with patient care planning and evaluation as needed.
• Helps prepare and manage the hospice’s budget.
• Monitors patient volume to adjust staffing and resources.
• Hires, evaluates, and terminates staff and conducts performance reviews.
