Job summary

AccentCare, Inc. is seeking a Director of Clinical Operations in Columbia, MD. This on-site role requires an RN license, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and up to 80% travel. You’ll supervise the patient/family care team and ensure regulatory compliance while managing schedules and payroll.

You’ll lead a collaborative, compassionate team delivering home-based hospice care, with opportunities for professional development and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience accepted.
• 5 years of home based care experience preferred.
• Role may require travel up to 80% of business days in supported territory.
• Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of agency operation.
• Must be a licensed driver who can travel to all business locations.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all direct patient/family care team members, including nurses, home health aides and counselors, in collaboration with Site Leadership.
• Oversees scheduling, payroll and other administrative duties.
• Ensures all initial assessments and required reassessments are conducted timely and properly documented.
• Ensures patient/family services comply with federal, state and local regulatory requirements.
• Ensures protocols are used to guide operations and regulatory/adherence.
• Monitors expenses related to patient/family services to ensure budgetary compliance.
• Acts as liaison for Social Worker, Volunteer, Music Therapy and Bereavement Departments.
