Deercreekseniorliving in Tacoma, Washington is seeking a Hospice Clinical Manager (RN) to lead our Hospice division. You will ensure compliance with hospice laws, manage patient referrals, and oversee staff training and mentoring.

Position Overview

Hospice Clinical Manager (RN) – Full‑time – Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington. Puget Sound Home Health and Hospice is seeking an experienced, caring RN to lead our Hospice division. Compensation: $115,000–$135,000 annual DOE, $10,000 sign‑on bonus, one day work‑from‑home per week, and comprehensive benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure agency compliance with all state/federal hospice laws and regulations.
• Review all incoming referrals for appropriateness, manage approvals, and assignments.
• Examine patient charts for medical diagnoses, procedures, medications, and clinical course.
• Assist the Director of Clinical Services with planning, implementing, and evaluating in‑services and CEU programs.
• Participate in interviews, hiring, training, and mentoring of staff.
• Engage in QAPI, OASIS review, and coding workflow activities.
• Provide symptom management and comfort care for hospice patients in their homes.
• Be available to take call when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of health‑care management experience, preferably in hospice.
• At least 1 year of hospice agency experience, including admissions.
• Experience with HOPE charting requirements for hospice.
• BSN degree preferred; not required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Washington state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience with Home Care Home Base preferred.
• Knowledge of hospice regulations, including Medicare COPs, PDGM, and VBP.
• Licensed and insured driver with reliable transportation.
