Hospice Clinical Manager (RN)

Full‑time position located in Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington. Salary: $85,000–$115,000 annually, DOE.

A few of the Essential Duties of this role:

• Ensure agency compliance with all state/federal hospice laws and regulations.
• Review all incoming referrals for appropriateness and manage approvals and assignments.
• Review patient charts for medical diagnoses, procedures, medications, and clinical course.
• Assist the DCS with planning, implementing and evaluating in‑services and CEU programs.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, and mentoring organization personnel.
• Participate in QAPI, OASIS review, and coding workflow.
• Provide symptom management and comfort care for hospice patients in their homes.
• Must be willing to take call when needed.

What do we require of our Registered Nurse (RN) Hospice Clinical Manager?

• Minimum of 1 year of health care management experience, preferably hospice.
• At least 1 year of hospice agency experience, including admissions.
• Experience in HOPE charting requirements for hospice.
• BSN degree is preferred, but not required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience with Home Care Home Base preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of hospice regulations, including Medicare COPs, PDGM, VBP.
• Licensed and insured driver with reliable transportation.
