Holy Cross Home Care and Hospice (Maryland) seeks a Hospice Clinical Manager to oversee clinical and operational elements of the hospice program. The role includes supervision of hospice clinical and field staff and office personnel, ensuring quality client care and regulatory compliance across the organization.

The position emphasizes leadership, staff development, and collaboration with physicians to align care with policy and standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a current license from the State Board of Nursing (Maryland).
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• Two years of experience in a hospice agency.
• Progressive supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interface with clients and staff.
• Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation to the work site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise staff providing direct client care and assigned office colleagues.
• Oversee delivery of quality client care per physician orders and agency standards.
• Orient managers, supervisors, and direct client care staff to the organization and services.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and accreditation through reviews and mentoring.
• Participate in agency leadership functions as part of the management team.
• Ensure accurate, timely client care documentation for billing.
• Set goals and priorities aligned with mission and strategic plan.
• Ensure planning reflects interdepartmental input.
