Job summary

ExcelaCare is seeking a Training Coordinator to design and deliver comprehensive hospice training programs for all staff, ensuring adherence to Medicare and State guidelines. You will educate licensed staff and supervisors, support new program implementations, and contribute to quality audits and performance improvement efforts.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to travel locally, and experience in hospice operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Healthcare Administration, Business, or Marketing preferred).
• 3 years in the hospice field.

Responsibilities

• Develops hospice training programs for the company and trains licensed staff.
• Provides teaching to supervisors and staff implementing new programs.
• Assists with HCHB/Point of Care training for personnel.
• Qualifies for corporate QI audits and data collection for special projects.
• Analyzes clinical operations to ensure standards are met.
