Job summary

ExcelaCare in Granbury, TX, McKinney, Sherman, Arlington, Weatherford seeks an experienced Training Coordinator for hospice programs. You will coordinate and develop staff training, teach licensed personnel, and support new program implementations across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Healthcare Administration, Business, or Marketing preferred).
• 3 years in the hospice field.
• Registered Nurse licensed in the state where practicing.
• Driver's license and proof of auto liability insurance; no OIG exclusions.
• Certified Home Health and Hospice Executive; Licensed physician or RN or social worker or therapist or nursing home administrator.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates training for all hospice employees in accordance with Medicare/State guidelines.
• Learns, understands, and develops hospice training programs for the company.
• Provides teaching to licensed staff and to the company's DHCS for all hospice programs.
• Provides teaching to supervisors and staff implementing new programs.
• Assists with HCHB/Point of Care training to appropriate personnel.
• Assists with Corporate QI audits.
• Collects and compiles information for special projects if necessary.
• Identifies performance issues and assists leadership in resolution.
• Analyzes and evaluates clinical operations to ensure standards are met.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure with changing priorities and short deadlines.
