Hospice and Palliative Care of the Wood River Valley is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Director to provide clinical leadership and help advance excellence in hospice and palliative care.
The Clinical Director serves as the organization's clinical expert in hospice and palliative care, providing leadership, mentorship, and professional guidance to the interdisciplinary team. This position focuses on clinical excellence, quality outcomes, staff development, and building strong relationships with physicians and healthcare partners.
This is a primarily leadership and administrative position with no routine patient caseload. The Clinical Director serves as a clinical resource and mentor for staff while working closely with the Executive Director, Medical Director, and clinical leadership team to support exceptional, patient-centered care.
This position is primarily administrative and leadership focused. The Clinical Director does not maintain a routine patient caseload but remains available for clinical consultation, staff mentoring, intermittent co-visits for patient and staff support, interdisciplinary meetings, staff education, and collaboration with the Executive Director and Medical Director.
The position also participates in the clinical on-call rotation, typically one evening per week and one weekend per month, with flexibility to assist with additional on-call coverage when staffing needs require.
