Every Life Has a Story Worth Honoring.

Some conversations become the ones families remember forever.

A chance to say "thank you".

To share a favorite memory.

To rediscover faith.

To find peace.

As a Hospice Chaplain, you'll help patients and families navigate these deeply meaningful moments with compassion, wisdom, and humility. You'll create space for reflection, healing, hope, and connection—helping people find meaning in one of life's most significant seasons.

This is more than spiritual care. It's helping people write the final chapter of their story with dignity and peace.

Why You'll Thrive Here
  • Spiritual care is recognized as an essential part of every patient's hospice journey.
  • Time to build authentic relationships instead of rushing from visit to visit.
  • Work alongside compassionate nurses, social workers, physicians, aides, and volunteers who value interdisciplinary care.
  • Leadership that understands both the privilege and emotional weight of hospice ministry.
  • Join a growing hospice supported by more than 30 years of trusted healthcare leadership through the Home Health Care, Inc. family.
  • Opportunity to help shape the spiritual care program as Superior Hospice continues to grow.
What You'll Do
  • Provide compassionate spiritual and emotional support to hospice patients and their loved ones.
  • Offer prayer, life review, ritual, scripture, reflection, or supportive conversation based entirely on each patient's beliefs and wishes.
  • Support families through anticipatory grief, bereavement, and difficult transitions.
  • Facilitate conversations about meaning, legacy, forgiveness, gratitude, hope, and reconciliation.
  • Participate as an active member of the interdisciplinary hospice team.
  • Respect and support individuals of every faith tradition, spiritual background, or no religious affiliation.
What You'll Bring
  • Experience as a Chaplain, Pastor, Spiritual Care Provider, or Hospice Chaplain preferred.
  • Experience in hospice, palliative care, oncology, healthcare ministry, or grief support is highly valued.
  • Deep empathy, emotional maturity, and exceptional listening skills.
  • Ability to provide compassionate care across diverse cultures, beliefs, and life experiences.
  • A heart for serving others with humility, respect, and presence.
