Job summary

Rainbow Community Care is seeking a full-time Chaplain/Spiritual Counselor in a hybrid role based in Johnson Creek, WI. You will provide spiritual support to patients and families, coordinate bereavement services, and engage with staff and clergy to address spiritual needs in end-of-life care.

Qualifications include seminary or theology certification and experience with life-threatening illness, with a Wisconsin driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Prefer graduate of accredited seminary or school of theology or appropriate certification in hospital or pastoral ministry.
• Demonstrated ability to be open, sensitive, flexible, and ecumenical.
• Must have experience with patients/families facing life-threatening illness, death, and grief.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and coordination of Rainbow Community Care’s spiritual and bereavement services for patients and families.
• Provide direct spiritual support and/or counseling within patients’ and families’ beliefs.
• Collaborate with staff, clergy, and community groups to address spiritual concerns of patients and families.
