Job summary

Ennoble Care is seeking a per diem Hospice Chaplain to serve the Wichita, KS market, providing spiritual care for patients nearing end of life and bereavement support for families. The role functions within an interdisciplinary team under the Clinical Director, delivering compassionate care in both facility and home settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s of Divinity Degree or equivalent in theological studies required.
• At least four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE); Board Certified or eligible for board certification under ACPE or CPSP.
• Excellent communication and pastoral skills; high emotional energy and mental alertness.
• Good organizational and decision-making skills; ability to perform charting in EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral/spiritual care to patients and families.
• Visit patients and develop a spiritual care plan with the Clinical Director.
• Conduct spiritual assessments and develop care plans addressing physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Provide pastoral support at bedside, funerals, memorials as requested.
• Document visits with patients per policy using the EMR system.
• Collaborate as a member of the interdisciplinary team; participate in staff and inter-faith activities.

Education

Master’s of Divinity Degree or equivalent in theological studies
