Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a chaplain to implement and coordinate spiritual services for patients and families, and to support the bereavement program in line with organizational policies.

The role requires ordination or ecclesiastical endorsement, experience with terminal illness, and comfort using mobile devices. This position emphasizes compassionate care, collaboration with clinical teams, and adherence to regulatory and spiritual guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be ordained or ecclesiastical endorsement to function in a pastoral capacity.
• Demonstrated experience working with patients and families dealing with life-threatening illness and death.
• Basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Implement and coordinate all activities of the spiritual services program and the delivery of spiritual services to patients and their families.
• Provide support to the bereavement program with spiritual support aligned with Enhabit policies and procedures.
