Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited seminary or school of theology; CPE preferred.
• Hospice experience with death and dying is preferred.
• Comfortable in an interfaith setting and respectful of diverse beliefs.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance are required.

Responsibilities

• Performs spiritual bereavement assessments for patients and families.
• Provides direct spiritual care and bereavement counseling.
• Documents services accurately in patient records.
• Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning.
• Provides consultation and support on spiritual care for the team.
• May participate in on-call coverage and supervise volunteers.
