Job summary

Absolute Companies is seeking a Hospice Chaplain to provide spiritual care and counseling to patients and families in Cambridge, OH. Part-time and full-time schedules are available, with on-call readiness and travel within the hospice area.

Qualified candidates will have a theological degree (preferred), CPR certification, and a proven ability to work independently. Excellent communication, organizational skills, and a professional demeanor are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited theological school is preferred.
• Experience counseling people who come from diverse religious/spiritual backgrounds.
• Knowledgeable of the religious community within the hospice service area.
• Experience relating to a wide variety of patients/families.
• Must understand and agree with the hospice philosophy.
• Current CPR certification.
• Willingness to serve on-call.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and the minimum state required liability auto insurance.
• Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; self-directed and able to work independently.
• A professional image and the ability to maintain a positive and respectful attitude are crucial.

Responsibilities
