Job summary

Trinity Health At Home – Grand Haven is seeking a Part-time Hospice Chaplain to provide spiritual care for patients, families, and staff within the local ministry. The role focuses on spiritual distress, grief support, crisis intervention, and end-of-life care as a full member of the health care team.

The position offers meaningful patient interactions, collaborative care, and opportunities to develop and participate in programs of spiritual care across diverse faith traditions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in divinity, Theology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience in spiritual care, chaplaincy, or pastoral counseling, preferably in a hospice or healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of and respect for diverse cultural and religious traditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual care to patients, families, and colleagues with focus on distress, grief support, crisis intervention, and end-of-life matters.
• Develops, conducts, and participates in programs of spiritual care to promote healthy communities and sacred environments.
• Facilitate inclusion of faith leaders from various communities in the provision of Spiritual Care.
