Job summary

Amara Hospice Care LLC in the Metro Detroit area seeks a Chaplain to assess spiritual needs and arrange for inter-faith support for patients and families. Qualifications

• Minimum of one CPE unit; hospice experience preferred.
• One year supervised experience in medical, educational, or religious setting.
• Inter-faith spiritual care with cultural/theological competence.

Responsibilities

• Assess spiritual and religious needs of patients and families.
• Arrange for spiritual and religious support per patient wishes.
• Support families in the bereavement process.
• Demonstrate commitment to Amara Hospice’s philosophy and mission.
• Travel across Metro Detroit and surrounding areas as required.
