Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited seminary or school of theology with a theological degree (BD, M. Div., or equivalent).
• Completion of at least one Clinical Pastoral Education unit.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for use on the job.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct spiritual care to patients, families, and caregivers from admission through discharge or death.
• Assess spiritual needs and contribute to the Plan of Care.
• Document spiritual care in the patient’s chart and communicate with the care team.
• Participate in Interdisciplinary Team discussions and educate staff on spiritual care.
• Officiate funerals or memorial services when requested.
• Provide bereavement support and on-call coverage as required.
