Patient Care Hospice of Wayne, part of LHC Group and the Optum family, is seeking a Chaplain/Spiritual Caregiver to provide spiritual care to hospice patients and their families.

As part of the Interdisciplinary Team, you will support diverse beliefs, reference a wide range of spiritual resources, and collaborate with staff to address emotional and spiritual needs. The salary range is $56,280 to $84,420 annually with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ units of Clinical Pastoral Education or Bachelor's degree in theology, divinity, pastoral care, philosophy, religion or related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in a health care setting and/or related pastoral experience.
• Documentation of current endorsement or acceptable language per faith tradition; devices by Armed Forces Chaplains Board.
• Good standing with spiritual group; no ethical charges current or pending.
• Current driver's license and vehicle access or public transportation.

Responsabilités

• Provide spiritual care to hospice patients and families.
• Support patient/caregiver in spiritual conversations without imposing personal beliefs.
• Provide resources and refer to faith leaders when necessary.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team and advise on emotional/spiritual needs in IDG.
• Provide spiritual and emotional care to hospice staff upon request.
