Job summary

The Chaplain at Chapters Health System provides a broad range of spiritual services to patients and families enrolled in any program. This role also offers spiritual support to staff and volunteers, aligning care with the organization’s mission.

Based in Florida with a Monday–Friday schedule and bilingual Spanish preferred for areas like Buena Ventura and St. Cloud. Candidates must meet credential requirements and possess strong communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Divinity, Theology, Christian counseling or related degree from an accredited institution required for hires after 5/26/2024.
• Bachelor’s degree in Divinity or related degree required for hires before 5/26/2024.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems and healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops a spiritual care plan with the interdisciplinary team based on patient/family spiritual needs.
• Provides spiritual care interventions and initiates appropriate care actions.
• Implements the spiritual care plan with staff, volunteers, clergy, or other counselors as needed.
• Monitors and reassesses the spiritual care plan and documents progress.
