NurSelect seeks compassionate CNAs for Day Shift hospice care in Doylestown, PA. Contract 4–8 weeks with potential extension; PRN positions also available. Join a caring team and provide dignified end-of-life support to patients and families.

Responsibilities include daily personal care, mood support, and timely communication with the hospice nursing supervisor. Travel to local residences may be required; MatrixCare documentation is expected.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania CNA certification.
• At least 6 months hospice/home health experience.
• Punctual, reliable and empathetic.
• Driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Provide compassionate end-of-life care in a home hospice setting.
• Assist with hygiene, grooming, bathing, nutrition, transfers; measure vital signs.
• Support families and communicate clinical changes promptly to the nurse supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, calm home environment for patient and visitors.
• Navigate MatrixCare on a mobile device for documentation of care, timesheets, and travel time.
• Travel to local client residences when needed and document travel details.

We are also taking applications for PRN Day shift Hospice positions in Doylestown, PA.

Role & Responsibilities

• Compassionate End-of-Life Care: Provide sensitive, resident-centric daily personal care to patients in a long-term care setting, ensuring comfort, dignity, and peace.
• Patient Hygiene & Comfort: Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, bathing, light nutrition, and repositioning/safe transfers. Measure and record vital signs.
• Family Support & Communication: Serve as a comforting, professional presence, reporting any clinical changes or urgent needs promptly to the hospice nursing supervisor.
• Environment Maintenance: Assist with maintaining a clean, calm, and supportive home environment for the patient and their visiting loved ones.
• Technology Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to navigate MatrixCare efficiently with your cellphone, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of patient care, timesheets, and travel time.
• Ability to Travel (when needed): Capable of independent travel to various local client residences, when needed, and maintaining detailed and precise records of travel time and destinations.

Requirements

• Must possess an active Pennsylvania CNA certification
• Minimum 6 months of hospice, home health, skilled-nursing, or related clinical experience
• Highly punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
• A deeply caring, empathetic, and resilient attitude suited for home hospice environments
• A reliable vehicle and Driver's License
