Responsibilities of Hospice Aide / CNA
  • Report to the Administrator or Patient Care Manager and work under the supervision of RN or Clinical Supervisor
  • Assist with personal hygiene, environment safety, meal preparation, feeding, ambulation, and light housekeeping
  • Assist with treatments as ordered and permitted by regulations
  • Support mental alertness and emotional well-being
  • Report changes in patient condition to the healthcare team
  • Practice infection control and document visits accurately
  • Participate in staff meetings and quality improvement activities
Candidate Requirements
  • Compassionate, kind, and empathetic
  • Comfortable providing care in the patient's home
  • Flexible and composed under pressure
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
  • Six months of relevant patient care experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Current CPR certification
