Job summary

Suncrest/Brighton Hospice is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate care to hospice patients under nursing leadership. You will work with a dedicated team to meet patient needs, promote comfort and dignity, and follow all safety guidelines.

You will collaborate with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers and leadership to ensure individualized care plans are followed and changes in condition are reported promptly.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works under the direction of the nursing leadership team to provide compassionate care to assigned hospice patients in accordance with their assessments and individualized care plans. The CNA Collaborates with the hospice care team to meet patient needs, promote comfort and dignity, and report changes in condition. The CNA follows all Company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and infection-control practices.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and committed to improving patients' quality of life
• Ability to work collaboratively with Nurses, Social Workers, Chaplains, Volunteers, and Aide Leadership
• Comfortable working one-on-one with patients while being supported by a dedicated care team
• Able to work independently and manage daily responsibilities
• Willingness to travel with reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance
• Current CNA certification in the state(s) of practice
• Eagerness to pursue additional certifications, education, and career growth opportunities
