Job summary

Best Hospice Care of Texas is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our home‑based hospice team. You’ll provide compassionate personal care to patients in homes and care facilities, assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, and daily living tasks.

Work closely with our nurses and the hospice team, communicating changes and helping us deliver a comfortable, respectful experience for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Auto insurance required.
• Reliable, compassionate, patient team player who can travel to patients’ homes.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a dependable, positive, and compassionate CNA who loves caring for others and wants to be part of a supportive team that truly works together.

What You’ll Do

As a Hospice CNA, you’ll provide personal care and support to patients in their homes and care facilities throughout our service area. Your day may include assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, repositioning, mobility, and other activities of daily living while helping each patient feel comfortable, respected, and cared for.

You’ll also work closely with our nurses and the rest of the hospice team, communicating changes or concerns and helping us provide the best possible experience for our patients and their families.

What We’re Looking For

We’d love to meet someone who:

• Has an active CNA certification
• Has a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
• Is dependable and comfortable traveling to patient homesCommunicates well and works great with a team
• Brings kindness, patience, and a positive attitude to patient care
• Is comfortable working independently in the field
• Has hospice or home health experience — a plus, but not required!
