Job summary

MercyOne Genesis Hospice Care is hiring a Hospice Supervisor to oversee the Hospice House and Community Based Hospice programs. You will provide supervision of staff and 24-hour operations, ensuring compliance with agency policies and high-quality patient care.

The role requires a Bachelor’s (or equivalent), an RN license (Iowa at hire, Illinois within 12 months), Basic Life Support, and hospice leadership experience. A valid driver’s license and auto insurance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• RN license in Iowa at time of hire; Illinois license within 12 months.
• More than 2 years of hospice agency experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall supervision of personnel and service operations for the Hospice House and community programs.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead quality monitoring and performance improvement activities; supervise staff orientation.
