Job summary

Visiting Nurse Association in Massachusetts-Hyannis is seeking a Hospice Clinical Manager to plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate patient care and staff education for hospice services, and to oversee day-to-day clinical operations. The role requires Massachusetts-licensed RN, BSN preferred, and a minimum of three years of supervisory experience in home health or hospice.

Strong communication and program administration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in Massachusetts.
• BSN or Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years supervisory or administrative experience in home health/hospice or related program.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to utilize available hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate patient care services and staff education for hospice.
• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations of the hospice programs.
• Develop staff education, data management and clinical practice in hospice.
• Determine staff qualifications and staffing needs according to program requirements.
• Ensure compliance with personnel policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor budget and program development across hospice activities.
• Collaborate with departments to maintain hospice policies and standards.
• Assist with orientation and ongoing education of new hospice staff.
• Serve as clinical resource to staff and community.
• Participate in Agency Quality Improvement initiatives.
