Job summary

Tri-Cities Chaplaincy in Richland, WA is seeking a Hospice Support Manager to provide operational and clinical leadership for hospice support services. You will oversee intake, triage, admissions, float nurse support, liaison, and staff, ensuring timely, patient-centered care and compliance with policies and quality standards.

You will supervise staff, coordinate care activities, and participate in leadership, quality improvement initiatives, and the on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted Washington State Registered Nurse license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) at time of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required or obtained within 36 months of hire.
• Minimum four (4) years of post‑education clinical experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Certification in CPR/BLS.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Pass pre‑employment drug screening, including cannabis testing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hospice support services including intake, triage, admissions, float nurse, liaison, and ancillary staff.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• Provide direct patient care as needed.
• Participate in staff training, leadership development, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain reliable transportation and travel to patient homes, facilities, and community locations.
