Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Hospice Liaison to drive outside sales in Lynchburg, Bedford, and surrounding areas. You will educate clinicians and families about home health and hospice services, build referral relationships, and coordinate patient admissions.

This role requires travel within the territory and a focus on meeting admissions and sales goals. Ideal candidates have 1+ year in healthcare business development; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in healthcare-related business development/outreach.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Educates healthcare professionals, patients, and families about home care services.
• Develops and maintains relationships with referral sources to generate leads.
• Coordinates admissions with the team and documents referral processes.
• Performs on-site visits to assess patient needs and identify barriers to care.
• Keeps accurate records of patient interactions and referrals.
• Meets admissions, product, and payor-mix goals.
• Documents minimum sales calls in CRM and maintains territory records.
• Represents Amedisys at community events and responds to inquiries.
