Job summary

Brighton/Suncrest Hospice seeks a Hospice Care Consultant to expand our Kansas City Metro footprint. The role collaborates with physicians, hospitals and community partners to deliver continuous care across the service area.

Candidates should be self-motivated, capable of working with an interdisciplinary team, and committed to our mission and culture. Responsibilities include establishing referral networks, shaping community perceptions, and strategic planning to expand services.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in healthcare sales, especially home care and/or hospice.
• Strong marketing knowledge and ability to drive market awareness.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with referral sources.

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources.
• Build and monitor community, customer, payer, and patient perceptions of the organization.
• Assist in strategic planning to identify opportunities for additional or improved services.
• Maintain comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing.

• Demonstrate expertise in healthcare sales within home care or hospice.
• Market aggressively while preserving positive industry relationships.
