Job summary

Brighton/Suncrest Hospice is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to expand referrals across the Kansas City Metro. You will engage physicians, hospitals, and community partners to deliver continued care in the service area.

The role requires a self-starter mindset and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, plus the ability to market hospice services while building durable relationships. Competitive pay and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in healthcare sales, especially home care or hospice.
• Ability to market aggressively while sustaining positive industry relationships.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with referral sources.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources
• Build and monitor community, customer, payer, and patient perceptions of the organization
• Assist in strategic planning to identify opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs
• Maintain comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing
• Maintain comprehensive working knowledge of Suncrest Hospice markets
