Enhabit Home Health & Hospice in Troy, AL is seeking a Hospice Branch Director (RN) to oversee terminal care, pain and symptom management, and staffing across office and clinical operations. This role requires strong leadership, compliance with hospice regulations, and excellent communication with patients, families and staff.

You will supervise the interdisciplinary team, coordinate services, assign staff to patients, and participate in community education initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of professional nursing and licensed as an RN.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience within the past 36 months and one year in hospice.
• Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local hospice laws and regulations.
• Competent with computers.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of terminal care with expertise in pain and symptom management.
• Supervise staff, oversee documentation requirements, service coordination and case management.
• Plan, coordinate and deliver interdisciplinary team interventions.
• Assign staff to patients/families and act as staff nurse when necessary.
• Participate in community awareness and education programs.
