St. Bernards Hospice is seeking a Bereavement Coordinator to oversee and coordinate all grief support programs and services. Working under the Hospice Director, you will ensure effective program delivery and outcomes for bereaved families and patients.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clinical teams, volunteer groups, and community partners to sustain comprehensive bereavement services. This position is anchored in our Jonesboro, AR campus with expectant engagement across the hospice

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, or humanities from an accredited graduate school.
• Current licensure as LSW in Arkansas preferred; if not licensed, must be licensed within 6 months.
• Hospice experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating programs and managing client relations.
• Experience with client intake processes and data collection.
• Experience recruiting, selecting, mentoring and managing volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Hospice Director the Bereavement Coordinator is responsible for the management and coordination of all grief support programs and services provided by St. Bernards Hospice.
