Job summary

All Seniors Foundation in Los Angeles seeks a Hospice Bereavement Coordinator to design and lead our bereavement program, guiding families through the first 13 months after a loss with compassionate support, counseling, and education.

You will run individual sessions, facilitate groups both in-person and virtually, coordinate memorial events, and ensure compliance with Medicare hospice regulations while connecting families to timely resources.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.
  • Licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) preferred; certification in thanatology (CT) a plus
  • 2+ years experience in hospice, palliative care, or grief counseling
  • Strong active-listening skills and ability to sit with intense emotion
  • Group facilitation experience

Role Overview

As Hospice Bereavement Coordinator, you will design and lead our bereavement program supporting families during the 13 months after a loved one’s passing. You will provide one-on-one counseling, facilitate support groups, and connect families with grief resources.
