Job summary

Ohio's Hospice is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide for the night shift to join our Dayton IPU team. You will work 7pm–7:30am, providing compassionate, patient-centered care alongside an interdisciplinary team in a Dayton-based Hospice House, with coverage for Troy/Middletown as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certified Nurse Aide (preferred; will train internally).
• CHPNA certification preferred. Ohio's Hospice supports professional growth and offers opportunities to obtain certification.
• Proficient in documenting patient care in electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Provide stellar care for patients and families as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver compassionate care during the night shift (7pm-7:30am) at Dayton Hospice House IPU and cover Troy/Middletown IPU as needed.

As a PCS you will provide stellar care for our patients and their families. Working alongside a dedicated interdisciplinary team, you'll deliver compassionate care that brings comfort, dignity, and peace.

This is a PRN night shift position, 7pm-7:30am. This position is located at our Dayton Hospice House IPU and will also cover our Troy/Middletown Hospice House IPU's when needed as well.

Qualifications of this role:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certified Nurse Aide (preferred, but will train internally)
• Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse Aide (CHPNA) certification preferred. Ohio's Hospice supports professional growth and offers opportunities for eligible employees to obtain certification.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to accurately document patient care and services in electronic medical records.
• Valid Ohio driver's license with a safe driving record and proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and 10 panel drug screening.
