Job summary

TriHealth’s Hospice of Cincinnati East Home Care/Long-Term Care Team is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide to support patients and families at home and in long-term care settings across the East Cincinnati territory, including eastern Hamilton, Clermont, Brown, and Warren counties.

You will provide comfort, companionship, and essential daily living assistance while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months–2 years of healthcare experience required.
• Reading and Math ability appropriate to the position.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care tasks under the direct supervision of a nurse, including bathing, feeding, ambulation assistance, and providing companionship and emotional support.
• Communicates effectively with the patient’s interdisciplinary team and family members.
• Performs equipment and supply quality checks and reports problems.
• Monitors supplies, restocks as needed.
• Documents clinical interactions and patient status and uses basic documentation technology.
