Job summary

By The Bay Health in San Francisco is seeking a full-time Hospice Aide to provide compassionate personal care to our hospice patients.

Requirements include completion of an approved Home Health Aide training program and a valid HHA license; California Driver’s License preferred if driving. Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Home Health Aide training program.
• Experience in hospice or home health preferred.
• HHA license required to work as Hospice Aide.

Responsibilities

• Assist patient in bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair as needed.
• Assist patient in and out of bed and with ambulation.
• Turn patient in bed, position for comfort, and change bed linen.
• Assist with prescribed exercises as directed.
