Job summary

By The Bay Health is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide to join our team in California. The role involves providing personal care to hospice patients, with a schedule of five days per week, including weekends, from 8:30am to 5:00pm, with start times flexible.

Must have an HHA license and a valid California driver’s license if driving a car. We offer company paid rideshares within the city, a car lending program, competitive pay, generous benefits, and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospice or home health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patient in bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair as needed.

• Turn patient in bed, position for comfort, and change bed linen.
• Assist with prescribed exercises as directed.

We are currently seekingafull time Hospice Aideto provide personal care services to our hospice patients.

Schedule:

5 days a week, must be available to work weekends; 8:30am - 5:00pm; start times are flexible

By the Bay Health follows all CDPH vaccine requirements for healthcare personnel. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Assist patient in bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair as needed

Education/Experience:

• Completion of an approved Home Health Aide training program.
• Experience in hospice or home health preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Completion of an approved Home Health Aide (HHA) training program. HOME CARE AIDE (HCA) CERTIFICATION IS NOT ACCEPTED.
• Current California Driver’s License and automobile insurance that meets State of California requirements, if driving a car.
