Job summary

Deaconess Hospice of Biloxi, MS, part of LHC Group, provides compassionate home-based hospice care to patients in Biloxi and surrounding areas. The Hospice Aide will assist with daily living activities, personal care, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments while maintaining a safe home environment.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
CPR certification required.
Ability to work flexible hours and independently.
Comfort working in clients' homes regardless of background.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders.
Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system.
Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs.
