Job summary

Emblem Hospice, part of The Pennant Group, Inc., is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide (CNA) to deliver compassionate in‑home end‑of‑life care in the Scottsdale area. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, providing hands‑on support to patients and families with dignity, respect, and clinical accuracy.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, vital signs, and comfortable home care.

Qualifications

• Active CNA or Hospice Aide certification in Arizona
• Current CPR certification
• Understanding of hospice philosophy and end‑of‑life care
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Empathy, patience, and ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, toileting, and linen changes
• Assist with ambulation, positioning, range‑of‑motion exercises, and comfort measures
• Observe patient condition, report changes, and document care accurately
• Take and record vital signs when ordered and within competency
• Use medical equipment safely and maintain a clean, comfortable home environment
• Provide respite support for patients, families, and caregivers as needed

Hospice Aide (CNA). Care with Heart, Presence, and Purpose. As the Hospice Aide (CNA), you will provide hands-on care to patients receiving end-of-life services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Your Impact

Requirements

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Hospice Aide certification in the State of Arizona


• Current CPR certification
