Job summary

Emblem Hospice in Scottsdale seeks a dedicated Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide hands-on end-of-life care under RN supervision. You will support patients with daily activities, observe conditions, and document changes to ensure quality care.

Requirements include AZ CNA or Hospice Aide certification, CPR, and strong communication. We value empathy, reliability, and teamwork, with flexible schedules and ongoing training to support your growth within The Pennant Group network.

Qualifications

• Active CNA or Hospice Aide certification in AZ
• Current CPR certification
• Understanding of hospice philosophy and comfort with end-of-life care
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Empathy, patience, and ability to work independently
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, toileting, and linen changes
• Assist with ambulation, positioning, range-of-motion exercises, and comfort measures
• Observe patient condition, report changes, and document care accurately
• Take and record vital signs when ordered and within competency
• Use medical equipment safely and maintain a clean, comfortable home environment
• Provide respite support for patients, families, and caregivers as needed
