Job summary

St. Croix Hospice in Brighton, MI seeks a dedicated Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our home-based care team. Work under RN supervision to deliver compassionate, hands-on personal care and comfort to patients in their homes.

This full-time role involves 8:00am-5:00pm schedule with rotating weekends, travel to patient homes around Lansing area, and duties including bathing, vital signs, and daily living support to improve quality of life at the end of life.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and auto insurance
• Provide personal care including bathing, skin/nail care, oral hygiene, dressing/undressing
• Record vital signs and report observations to the care team
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed
• Promote patient comfort, dignity, and safety
• Travel to patient homes throughout the day and provide care as scheduled
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided

Responsibilities

As aHospice Aide (CNA), you’ll be an essential part of our interdisciplinary care team, delivering compassionate, hands-on care to patients in their homes. Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you’ll support patients with personal care and daily living activities, helping ensure comfort, dignity, and the highest possible quality of life at the end of life.

This role will be based in our Brighton, MI office but patient responsibilities will be in and around Lansing MI area.
