Job summary

CorsoCare Hospice in East Lansing, MI, is seeking a CNA/Hospice Aide to join our home health team. The Hospice Aide reports to the Clinical Manager and works under the supervision of the Staff RN/Case Manager, Supervising Therapist, and Clinical Manager to provide personal care and related services in the home setting.

The role requires an active Michigan CNA license and at least 1 year of hospice/home care experience.

Qualifications

• Currently certified as a CNA in Michigan.
• Minimum of 1 year hospice aide experience in a health care or home care setting.
• CPR certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the patient with ambulation and mobility.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment and follow care plan.
• Provide basic patient nourishment and hydration assistance.
• Record temperature, pulse, and respiration as directed.
• Follow infection control procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with patient, family, and care team.
