Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Aide in Missouri to provide comfort care to patients at home with compassion and respect. You will support patients, families, and the hospice team, addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Qualifications

• Missouri CNA license or certification is required; CPR certification is required.
• Nurses’ aide training and 24 months of employment as a nurses’ aide if not licensed/certified.
• Enrollment in a nursing program for at least four months with recent clinical rotation and Fundamentals of Nursing course validated by transcript and letter.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort care to patients enabling them to remain at home with their loved ones.
• Work as a member of the hospice team to meet each patient’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Help patients approach their final days with joy, peace, and dignity.
