Compassus is seeking a Hospice Aide to provide compassionate care to patients in their homes in Missouri. You will join a hospice team addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.

The role emphasizes quality of life, dignity in end-of-life care, and collaborating with a supportive, family-centered culture. Qualified candidates include CNAs with Missouri licensure or those enrolled in a nursing program with clinical rotations.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred and licensed/certified as a Nurses’ Aide in Missouri.
• Current CPR certification required.
• In Missouri, licensure or 24 months’ work as a nurses’ aide if not licensed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort care to patients at home, enabling them to remain with loved ones.
• Work with hospice team to address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Help patients face final days with dignity and peace.
